Automod

Repeated triggering of automod or bypasses

Automod can block and flag certain words or phrases. When that happens, the event is logged in helper-kitty-channel. Depending on which automod filter was triggered, different actions are required. Depending on what filter is triggered it has a different level of severity

  1. Check trigger rule

  2. Check message content and surrounding context

  3. Lookup member

If a member sends more than 6 mentions in quick succession, the message will be flagged

If Discord suspects the message of being spam, it will be flagged

This is a default Discord filter. If it detects severe profanity, insults and slurs, or sexual content, the message will be flagged

If a member uses a term that violates Rule 2 or is otherwise inappropriate, the message will be blocked and flagged. The member will see the following block message: “Please avoid using suggestive or inappropriate terms”

If a message contains words that could potentially lead to conflict, it will be flagged

If a message contains what appears to be an email address, it will be flagged

If a message contains a Discord server invite link, it will be flagged
